Sierra County Restaurants
Greetings and welcome to Sierra County, NM , and we're glad you're here. I have a Foodies group on Facebook that tries to cover anything food in our county and I write a food column, For the Love of Food, for the newspaper, the Sentinel. I try to keep up with what's going on in the food world here. I'm going to give you a quick overview of what's available and try to highlight our restaurants, etc, in future issues. You can always message me on FB if you have questions in the meantime. I sincerely hope you enjoy visiting with us and love where you eat here.
Sierra County has 4,179 square miles of land and 57 square miles of water, with places to get something to eat, on land, on the water and in the mountains. There are places to get fantastic steaks and prime rib, home cooking, creative cooking, occasional seafood, bar food, grills and Mexican. We have Food trucks, hamburgers on the lake, ice cream places and a favorite pie in Hillsboro. For this inaugural issue, I'm going to ensure you know what's out there. Space is limited so I'm just listing names, type of food and town. Hopefully you can look up what you're interested in or ask anyone. We're all pretty friendly. Here we go:
